Mouse randomly turning off

This isn't really the right place to post this but, my laptop just updated. I have a wireless mouse that's been working fine.
But ever since the update, it's been randomly turning on and off. I also randomly here a jingle when it does that.
I'm trying my hardest to find a solution. It's driving me nuts. I don't think it goes in the BL help thread because it happens everywhere.

i guess either battery or the usb port(s) are getting loose from use.

Could be that because you updated the OS, the drivers may be out of date. The USB port could also be loose, so check that too.

Get a normal mouse. They're more reliable, I always hated wireless mice.
