I added some more pictures of more recent stuff.

More progress on the strip mall.  Finished the restaurant exterior and am making a complicated waitering system.

Wow looks nice I haven't gotten to see it yet D:

Where have you been, I haven't seen you in a long time.

On vacation and just being plan absent from the computer in general

Ok guys, i finally made a strip mall shop template and have made three restaurants, "Poco Italia" italian, "Tuna Tataki" japanese, and "Chop Steak" steak house.  [lectro] is also making "La Fiesta", a mexican restaurant.

In these restaurants, i have also finished the food aspect for restaurants.  You click the employee in there, he/she states the menu (below of "Poco Italia"), you say the corresponding number, and you get fed.

I have also created 7 playertypes that are increasingly slower.  This is for when players are hungry, thirsty, and tired.

I recently came up with a new idea, while on vacation in Bermuda, watching my 18 year old brother legally chug a 23 oz glass of local beer, to implement alcohol into this, and it's effects on the person.  I would do this by creating new playertypes, because I can do that now, and change the playertype of the person depending on how much alcohol they drink.

I also remembered something that I thought of a while ago, but never used, and that is a stock market.

This is basically my opinion, maybe other's but this is my opinion.
I absolutely love the designing you have done with the buildings, it's quiet beautifull.
The only fault I noticed is that you've used the default trees.
Scrap that, you've used those pine trees that is a new add-on to RTB.
If you could build custom made trees (out of bricks) that would be great. I know somebody who has some but he possibly won't share them.
Other then that, this is going to be a great build.
If you need any extra help, just ask me. Chaoz.

Also, where do you get the brick effect from, is it a type of brick or just simply a print?

Ok, will do.

I used the default and pine tree only for the axe yard, to reduce the number of any relays or namedbricks.  I will however use custom built trees in any areas I feel they fit, so if you know good designs for trees, then that could help, because I feel organics is one of the only subgenre of build I cannot grasp.

That is a brick from RTB, just search up brick on RTB.

Build looks neat.

Thanks.

Ok, I'm here in my high-end hotel suite in Bermuda thinking about how to do the stock market, and I think I figured it out.

First, you buy 1 stock in Company A for $100, this is Number Alpha.  Every day, a random number generator will generate a number between 0 and 1, this is Number Beta.  Another random number generator will generate either a 0 or 1, this is Number Gamma. The way this works is that if Number Gamma is a 1, then the game will multiply Number Beta by 10, and add this new Number Beta to Number Alpha, this is now the new Number Alpha.  But, if Number Gamma was a 0, then the game will multiply Number Beta by 10, and subtract the new Number Beta from Number Alpha and set this as the new Number Alpha.

After a while, you might want to sell your stock.  When you do this, you get the most current Number Alpha in money and your stock is deleted.  This is similar to how actual stocks work.  I'll display an example with actual numbers

Day 1
Alpha=$500
Beta=.24796
Gamma=1
New Alpha=$524.80

So now, you put in $500 for a stock.  The next day, the rate increases by $24.80.

Day 2
Alpha=$524.80
Beta=.68418
Gamma=0
New Alpha=$456.38

Looks like day 2 was rough for you.  Your stock is now worth less than what you bought it for, do NOT sell it now.
Let's skip a few days

Day 1567
Alpha=$1702.50
Beta=.02374
Gamma=1
New Alpha=$1704.87

You decide that you made good money on this an wish to sell your stock.  You walk into the stock market building, and sell your stock.  You now have $1704.87 more than before, which was a $1204.87 increase since you bought your stock.

In later versions of this, I will probably tweak it to make for less of an increase/decrease.  You will be able to buy stock from actual companies in Blocktopolis, such as Blockland Petroleum (BP), Poco Italia, and Blocky Bank.

If you have an idea for future creations for the city, post it here and I'll think of how to incorporate it in.

Got a clan you want to advertise?  Make a print split into a four 4x print brick wide and two 4x print bricks high, like in the below diagram, describing your clan with words or pictures.

Want to apply for admin?  Come to my server when it's up-come back frequently, don't noob around, be a well tempered, patient, kind player-and you have the makings to be an admin.  Do not ask for admin, as this will cause me to judge you differently and often won't admin you.  Do not mention an application for adminization, as this will cause for the same effect.

Admins are supplied with the knowledge of how the game works, have access to secret areas and activities, and get to build in the Admin residential area.

Big stuff is going to happen guys, and I have it all written down on scraps of paper.
