This may not be a romantic saying but it's most certainly a romantic do-ing. This happened to me two days ago. Prepare for possible g'awws.

Shannon and I decided to talk about things since we broke up. We decided to stay friends, but I was starting to regret my decision and starting to wonder if it would really still be possible for us to stay together.

We went for a walk in the woods, like we did before we met. She asked what we were doing. I said, "we're just gonna go to the opening in the woods and sit and talk."

We got to the crack in the woods, and stood together near a tree, side by side.

"You know how hard this is for me, right?" said Shannon, blushing, almost in tears.

"I know. But I have a feeling things will get better."

"How do you know?" she replied.

I was silent. Instead, I had thought of an idea. Shannon and I used to play hide and seek in the woods as a joke, and when she found me I'd scare the bajeesus out of her and laugh about it.

"Let's play hide and seek." I said, smiling a little. "You're it."

She stood in the middle of the forest, eyes closed, with one tear falling from her eye. "Alright..." she said quietly.

"10, 9, 8, 7... Wait, where do I count from?" she said.

"Zero," I said, now suddenly nose to nose with her.

We kissed. c:

Then, while we were holding each other, she said the best thing I've ever heard:

"I want to fall in love with you all over again."

YEP so that's been my day and I'm kinda jumpy and such about life and everything and wahoo rainbows

You wrote that beautifully. You either have a bright future or a gleaming past.
