0DoomBrick0 - Spam

so I was making a snowy terrain build on Badspot's server today, left, came back and noticed this:




so, 0Ðôômßrî¢k0 has blatantly disregarded the server rules and my terrain to build a spammy window design because he think's it's cool. righto, whatever, I'll just ask him to move it. I asked him to move it, and he gets really adamant, and then it's a heated argument, which he loses.

a few minutes later:




he spams over my terrain. not wanting to get riled up about this, i simply inform him that i have taken pictures. he responds with this:

i still refuse to argue with him about it, and I again inform him that i've taken pictures.



i'm like, really scared, bro


I really can't stand it when people do this on Badspot's server, when they just put down a red baseplate, put some stuff on it, and then people have to wait for it to get deleted. The server is not for silly glow tricks or your stuffty window design, it's about terrain. Yet, people still think that they can do as they please, and then they get offended when they realize they can't.

I understand your'e point of view (i'd get angry if someone did that to me too) but i think you missed the point of badspot's block party.

Badspot's block party IS NOT all about terrain builds, just look at the badspot's block-party Halloween builds, only 10-20% of that was terrain,  building something thats NOT terrain is NOT against the rules...

Other then that, i understand why you felt compelled to post this, this is a good example about people who get buthurt about baseplates and spam. This guy happened to be on the spammers side, those guys spam using baseplates as an excuse to get away with it, but there is also the other side, the people who get all buthurt when you build something thats NOT on a baseplate, i've seen wonderful builds that were not on a baseplate, but the non-spammers would have them deleted for being "spam" and not being "on a baseplate"

Wrong. The server was specifically about terrain builds when this happened. People who didn't build terrain and built pixel art instead where permanentally banned when Badspot came around. That's what the info station is for.

No, they weren't, he thought he could literally plonk a window design in the middle of my terrain and then spam over my build. When he left, the red baseplate and stuff window was still there, with a pillar in the corner to ensure that I couldn't build over it.

The reason you build on a baseplate is so that it doesn't take 3 hours for an admin to get rid of it. According to badspot, it's spam, no matter how good it looks.

I don't understand why you're splitting this up into spammers and non-spammers. Spammers are always in the wrong, %100.

He did something similar to me on Cca's freebuild. He built a bunch of baseplates over my house's roof. I told him to delete it and for Cca to kick him for spamming. He quickly deleted it before got into "twouble"

thats not entirely true, in badspots block party, you can build whatever you like, so long as you match up (height wise) terrain with your neigbours
