It's still no excuse to get upset. The doctor isn't even the one to examine the X-ray. It has to be sent to a nearby hospital where a radiologist has to examine it. Even then, he may have several other X-rays to examine before he looks at Dan's. While I would be a tad dissatisfactory with the doctor's incorrect estimation of time, it doesn't surprise me that it has taken a while. I would know, my uncle is a radiologist and often times has to look at 500 X-rays in a small period of time.
