netbooks

my new phone will be more powerful than my computer.

300 a 500 on a huge build with everything maxed out

500-600, no min is 300. With v-sync, its solid 60 no matter what there is.

Sounds like a waste of resources... lol

Yeah, that's what it's supposed to do.

Sounds like a waste of resources...
How is it a waste?

laptop, fullscreen, 1600x900, highest settings, forced 32xAA, etc., averaging around 100 fps
desktop, fullscreen, 1920x1080 with another 1400x900 monitor running as well, highest settings, forced 32xAA, etc., averaging around 60 fps

Humans can't see 300 fps.

Isn't the point where you stop seeing the difference at 60 fps?

Humans can't see 300 fps.
Well, if you have v-sync on, it actually underclocks your GPU to use as much clocks as needed for only 60 FPS, but I want my GPU to use its full potential.

Also, I like big numbers.

I want my GPU to use its full potential.

Unless you're going to record it and play it back slowly or other forms of editing requiring high frame precision, I don't see why.

out 150 when its just a server with hardly any bricks on, if it has thousands of bricks I get around 30 max
