I think a lot of people like it because it's something different. I think it's pretty cool, but I'll probably use them interchangeably.

Can you modify the model so it has the current Blockhead's Hands?
I mean I know its the Beta Player, but if it had the hands of right now it would look a little bit updated.

There is no point.

Also my whole computer was wiped, everything is now restored to default Windows as I bought it.. Not my fault.

I really have no experience with working on playertypes, so excuse me if this is not possible, but would you be able to apply the 'headskin' material to all the faces of the head so the color of the head can be modified?

No idea, sounds very reasonable, though. So i think it's worth a try, atleast. Just so that yellow head thing doesn't taunt me in my DREAAAAMSSSS
