What will having a clan even do?
The purpose of most knife clans is to bring together a group of people who share the same interests into a semi community that can express their ideas freely while being supported by a sense of family and/or exclusivity in said group.
He's not just screwing around and making a fan base for his game mode. He's giving it structure and now it's attractive because there is a clan that devotes its entire purpose to that game mode. It's a great strategy that CAN end well if executed properly, in my opinion.
