You can pretty much meet the requirements for this in your free time if you have another job, flying and logging hours until you meet standards for civilian aircraft, though I'm not exactly sure how that works, and it might take awhile.

I know how to fly a Cessna 402C and a Beechcraft Baron 58. Gonna  be a while before I get to the jets though.
