Author Topic: Turtle Beach X11 Help  (Read 679 times)

I've had these Turtle Beaches since last Christmas, working great!
Today, I decided to play Halo: Reach for the bucks of it.
My friend invited me to a party, so I joined.
When I did, I couldn't hear him.
So, I turned up my Chat volume. Still, nothing.
I thought to turn up my Game volume, which I did.
I could hear him better, but Halo was blasting.
Any help on this?

Turtle beach sucks. There's your help.

Turn you game volume down.

Or unplug your thingy and plug it back in.

Did you check if the thingy was plugged into your controller?

What exactly is wrong with turtle beaches? I know about 3 people who all own turtle beaches and they say that they're just as good as astros, tritons, etc.

They say this because they used to have a pair of astros.

fyi i don't have a lot of friends that are gamers, lol

Well, they seem to have a tenancy to break/give out quickly for me. I went through two XL1's and a DXL1 all with a lifespan of about 4 or 5 months. Maybe I just have bad luck with them :(

Well, 4-5 months is about the time where just about anything will start to wear out, so..

Hm, I've had $20 earbuds last longer than a few years.

D:
My skullcandy earbuds lasted about 10 months for me. And plus, headsets are easier to break compared to earbuds. They're more fragile imo.

I never even really played xbox all that much in the past two years or so, so they never got any action. In reality, they only got about 2 weeks of use.
