Whats stopping someone from just removing the add-on?

Does this store a copy of password.

This is for people with (dumb) younger siblings
So, nothing

Does this store a copy of password.

uh no, the computer just remembers the password forever

yes, how would it not remember it and be able to log you in

I meant like inside the config for example "Config/Password/texthere.txt" incase you lose it.

Yeah, it really works under the assumption that the sibling in question is young or something.
However, you could rename it. It doesn't has to be named "Client_StartPass" unless you download it from RTB.

Rename it to anything, it only has to have an underscore between two wedges of text and be directly in the Add-Ons folder. Name it asdf_jkl.zip

Actually, name it something more original and also something more legitimate. Name it something that looks like an actual add-on.

If I did that, it would sort've defeat the purpose. It's in plaintext in a rather obvious location, but if I told you in the thread for the add-on, that would, again, defeat the purpose. Just use a password you'll be able to remember, but that'll be hard to guess.

EDIT: I just figured out a way to keep the add-on from being deleted - in a way, at least - but I doubt Badspot would like it. I really don't want to mess with the only one with nukes.

Do you have to enter the password before it authenticates your key? It should do that if not and if possible.

I don't think this is possible, especially if you want this to work with RTB.

Maybe run the the whole "preventing from being deleted" thing by Badspot.
Send him a PM or something.

I did, actually. However, I'm still not going to actually add it in until I have a yes. If I get a no, I'm just not going to add it in. No, not even as a private add-on, so don't ask.

Wow, nice idea, and good add-on.

How would it work someone can just delete the add-on while BL is off

Implying it would be stored as an add-on.
