Because that's not how it works.

The chance someone will go on a rampage and kill someone likely depends on a combination of defunct social development and mental illness, both of which (sometimes not the former) aren't genetic.

They are really messed up, which is directly a consequence of insufficient psychiatric evaluation by people like school counselors who see these people when they are already mental ill.

These kinds of shootings would never occur if people were properly diagnosed for things like Schizophrenia and depression.

Yea you'd think out of all those people someone would have the balls to trip that muther forgeter when he was going up the stairs.
Thats what i dont get, people are all afraid of 1 man with 1 gun in 1 hand. Tackle that forget and beat his ass! If enough people charge him at once or catch him off guard hes forgeted! It's hard to aim at 2 people with 1 gun so if there were like 50 people im sure they could have kept the kill/injury count down by defending themselves instead of letting the killer run the place

These people aren't soldiers you loving handicap.

Civilians don't all think at once, "Hey, everyone is going to tackle him so we can overpower him and it's likely we'll come out of it okay!". They think, "Holy stuff if I attack him he's going to shoot me and my family will be destitute and my life will be over".

You have no point of reference to understand the kind of terror being chased by a guy with a rifle in his hand is like, so stop trying.
