So these people knew they were gonna live, hunh. Tell that to the ones in the morgue, ass.
Everyone there probably felt the same in the theater as they did in the airplane, scared as forget. The difference? Someone on the plane had balls and made the first move to stop the terrorist. What happened? Other people saw what he was doing and tried to help.
No, they knew they were going to die. A passenger called 911 in the lavatory and was told about the intentions of the hijackers. The people in the theaters had a possible route of escape that they wouldn't risk by trying to overtake the shooter. This is a completely logical decision. Stop berating the victims of this shooting for not risking their lives trying to play cop. You are wrong, shut up.

and risk running past the attacker? I think I'd feel safer hiding in the bathroom
I don't think that you "think" a whole lot when you panic

Im not saying it's the victim's fault because it isn't im simply implying that if the people there wanted to, they could have easily over powered this 1 man, with little to no casualties.

You just said that you, at all times should attempt to beat up the attacker with your bare hands.

Yikes! I literally just got back from watching this movie before seeing this thread.
