I need help convincing my mom that Battlefield 3 is just a game.

Yet kids are getting constantly beaten up, bullied, etc. at school on a daily basis. I come to notice that usually violent behaviors develop when you're in such areas as a public school where as with a video game you've got only yourself playing..and nobody I know becomes violent to themselves when they play BF3...

And she's right.  Video games don't really provide any support or real social skills.  If you're shy, you need to pucker up your self-confidence and get out there already.  Video games will only allow you to keep up your anti-social skills.

BF3 is over rated and the DLC is more expensive than Black Ops DLC.  And that's really loving bad.  Don't get the game.  It's a waste of time.  The campaign blows, so does Co-op and multiplayer.  Go get Just Cause 2.  Best game ever.

Guns are basically in anything. Tons of games, PG movies, too. They may not be guns such as modern day guns, but they're still weapons. You play blockland, and that has guns in it, but your mom continues to let you play it. It's not like shooting a gun in a game is going to make you violent or anything. Tell her
