I think it should be a shot to the head. Painless. Instant. Old execution style.
It's sort of unusual which doesn't look good to other countries. The way we do it right now with lethal injection is still completely painless because the victim is unconscious when the actual damage starts, but it's more expensive I guess. The high cost of executing a person in the US doesn't come from the pharmaceuticals pumped into them though, so I guess that's irrelevant.

It's not a copypasta, it's statistics citing a book of law written by the director of the Justice Research Association with a Ph.D in Sociology. It's not some dude on the internet speaking on opinions. This guy is an expert in law.
