I like how everyone decides the hard evidence I provide is incorrect because I swear at you people. The future of my generation seems bleak if you guys are the majority. (Considering you're both like 14)
Again, I never said your evidence is wrong, and I agree.  But come on, can you just loosen up?  You're calling everyone with a different opinion a cigarette essentially.

Funny a couple weeks ago me and my friend were talking about the same thing he came to the conclusion the the raspiest should get there balls removed im not trying to be funny when I say that that's honestly what we came to as a conclusion
Good idea, castrate the rapists.  I like it.

I think it should be a shot to the head.  Painless.  Instant.  Old execution style.
It's sort of unusual which doesn't look good to other countries. The way we do it right now with lethal injection is still completely painless because the victim is unconscious when the actual damage starts, but it's more expensive I guess. The high cost of executing a person in the US doesn't come from the pharmaceuticals pumped into them though, so I guess that's irrelevant.

You're not going to save society by flinging copypastas and insults around on the internet. Nobody even listens to each other here.
It's not a copypasta, it's statistics citing a book of law written by the director of the Justice Research Association with a Ph.D in Sociology. It's not some dude on the internet speaking on opinions. This guy is an expert in law.

I'm not calling anyone a cigarette, I'm calling you guys handicaps and starfishs which are completely appropriate titles for people contributing to the persecution of sick people.

I was saying that people that do large crimes should be killed and that if there is no harsh punishment people that would be inclined to do things like that would go ahewad and do them.
It was pretty obvious.

I can't tell if you're trying to win the argument, or if you're trying to annoy us by repeating yourself after admitting that you make no sense.

handicap is an approprite title for somebody with autism and starfish is a title for a hole in your ass that stuffs out stuff.

Maybe in a literal sense, smart ass.

Too bad it isn't going to mean anything over the blockland forums. If you really think you can save society with your law handbook, you should go start a podcast. You're not getting anywhere here. If you really think we're going to change anyone's mind over this forum, you're insane.

So I should just edit my post to say handicap?  Then will you be happy?
I never said a single thing about the 'persecution of sick people' I am saying that people OF AGE without any MENTAL DISEASES who rape and murder people PURPOSEFULLY should have a punishment fit for the crime.

I don't feel that we as humans should "play god" and decide when somebody is to die. Who gives us the power to do that; to decide life and death?

What I posted should have changed your mind considering it dismantles your entire argument against the insanity defense. So, what's the decision?

Is the insanity defense still a, "get out of jail free" card?

I think you should lock the thread because you and your friend Poleutrough have absolutely no comprehension of law in the US and you're basically just arguing over things you don't even understand.

I think capital punishment should be executed publicly so the general public is slightly more fearful of committing crimes.

That would be cruel and unusual which isn't the goal of capital punishment.

If I ran a country I wouldn't allow it. Stop getting so mad over teenagers opinions on the internet.

Who?  Oh that guy who I agree with about half the time, okay.  And this has nothing to do with US law, this only has something to do with our opinions on what US law should be.

I think we should be able to "rent" people in prison to work for us as slaves, in a way. If we're paying for them why not get use out of them?

That would be cruel and unusual which isn't the goal of capital punishment.
It was done successfully in the middle ages
