sounds like you just have sucky eyes

Actually according to my last opticians appointment I have better vision than your average person. Same as my mother, must get it from her.

IMO once a game appears to move smooth and realistically, anything else will be hard to notice unless you make a hard effort. Why would you?

there's no way that it was at 80 fps then
there's just no way. I can't even play at 50 without ragequitting, let alone 40.

I don't get it?

says what study

i can say a number too, nobody is backing anything up

60 is what has been accepted as "technically" flicker free.

They say the same thing about me. Even though my left eye is quite blurry at distances.

if you seriously can't tell the difference between 40 and 80 fps you have sucky eyes (at least compared to the rest of us that can)

You CAN edit graphics but the settings are so hidden the average player wouldn't know where to look. The only reason I know about it is because I was having major FPS drops so I messaged Builderman.

"Completely realtime"

It looks like a damned slideshow for christ's sake.

Watching the roblox update demos and comparing to the Blockland update demo... Wow.

That is really pathetic, and down right childs play compared to what Kompressor and Badspot are dishing out. I think those two actually care for quality, not just the money, which I don't think they get a lot of to begin with.

Badspot only gets $7 out of every key bought. Maybe more since GarageGames doesn't take a cut of his money anymore, I think.

Yeah, and the fact that he and Komp are putting this much effort into their game, they spell out professionals of good standing.

The Roblox devs are more of an anomaly. They make a very good profit but they treat their project like they don't give a forget about it. I really don't understand.

What basis do you have for saying that? I think you are speaking beyond your depth to try and prove an argument that you don't have much substantial evidence for.

I think during the very early stages of ROBLOX, before gear updates, builderman operated on a similar goal to Badspot's -- to make a good game. After the updates, well, he got a little greedy for money.

lol no. hes not some lost soul that forgot his way like you try to romanticize him with.

i see a developer that is seeing the peak of his project long past. and he either lacks the skill or other means to make a new hit game.
he is milking a dieing project best he can. because this is all he can do.

I don't get Roblox.
I have a computer which can play Battlefield 3 on high settings at a solid 30+ fps but it can't run Roblox at anything more than 20-30 with some frameskipping.

I really don't get it
