It probably wouldn't be too suprising to find out that Roblox doesn't care anymore. They got a massive audience, cranked in the cash, and don't care to return any favors. They just seem to care more about their own profit.

What basis do you have for saying that? I think you are speaking beyond your depth to try and prove an argument that you don't have much substantial evidence for.
I have never met, or even heard of a person that cannot differentiate between the two framerates. The difference is as obvious as night and day to most people. Despite boltster's dislike of you, guess what: he's right, in the most objective sense of the phrase.

If you're going to play devil's advocate, you will most likely get burned.

Bollocks, once you get to a certain frame rate that is smooth I can't believe for one moment that you could differentiate between a higher frame rate.

I don't have the best graphics card in the world, but once it gets to 40FPS anything higher isn't visibly smoother. Its just smooth.

Sorry my experiences are so inconvenient for you.

I dunno if its comparable since its video, but I've recorded videos in 100 FPS and downsized them to 29.97FPS and its not affected the smoothness noticeably-- I'd have to physically point it out for people to notice.

The problem here, sheath, is that however confident you may be in your own experiences everyone else can tell the difference just fine. You're trying to speak against the majority without having any concrete evidence. Don't get me wrong, the majority viewpoint doesn't have any concrete evidence either, but since most people's experiences seem to align, I can only assume it's correct

why does op always post things about roblox?

So that not only I, but the whole community can get updated on what will probably be or is already our competition. I also do this to prevent the community from looking ignorant when discussing topics such as roblox.

Wow, I'm impressed.  I've seen better lighting before coughblocklandcough but this isn't bad.

Games are designed to run at 60fps and animations and movements are built to update at 60 times a second. This is a fact for most games. Sheath is factually wrong.

They look mediocre at best, are you just being nice?

I don't understand their idea of throwing out a prototype.  Did their users notice we're getting an impending shaders update and throw a ruckus over it to the point where the developers scrambled to make something?

So you can say with 100% certainty that if I changed all your games to run at 40FPS from their usual 80, you would know?

Alright, so how is it then that people can "tell" its running at 80 if its optimized for 60?

Then the game is made poorly or for some reason designed to run at anything besides 60, 75, or 100 fps.

Absolutely

Yeah I was trying to help keep a crapstorm from coming up but I guess that doesn't really matter.

In fact they are pretty bleh.

Absolutely

Alright, I'll concede that my graphics card must not be capable of rendering a game better than 50FPS and therefore I can't tell.

what basis do i have for saying you have sucky eyes? i already said it, l2read

if you can't tell the difference between 40 and 80 fps you have sucky eyes (at least compared to the rest of us that can)

Well, you would probably have to change my games from 40 to 80, I have stuffty graphics as well. It's no excuse though, the difference is still plain to see
