Who cares? We're talking inmates not amount of inmates per race.

I don't think you understand but the amount of inmates of a certain race compared to the the amount of people that make up that race is irrelevant, while something like the total amount of inmates of a certain race is.

It matters because if there's a smaller number of Afro Americans on the outside, on the inside there would be less too.

Still not relevant considering that the prison population makes up less than 1% of the total US population.

Even if everyone who is currently in prison was black, they would make up 4.8% of the African American population in the US.
