Psycho (1960)
Quarantine
Se7en
Shutter Island
The Blair Witch Project

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
The Hills Have Eyes
The Silence of the Lambs
[REC]
The Thing (Both 2011 and 1982)
The Grudge
The Crazies

I found these in a bunch of different top 10 lists.  Any additional recommendations?

REC
This.

It's best if you don't know anything about it before watching it. That's what I did. The only thing I knew about it before starting it was that it was a horror movie. It really adds to the experience.

Justin Bieber - Never Say Never 3D

Justin Bieber - Never Say Never 3D

I never understood why it had to be in 3D.

I mean seriously its a loving documentary. If you can even call it that.

thanks dkamm

more suggestions are welcome

also what was that one where it's like a chick and a dude in a house in the countryside and these people with sacks over their faces and wearing suits (or some stuff) surround the house and try to murder them?  i think it was fairly recent, past 5 years max.

That movie isn't even scary wtf

Also, the Saw movies are scary to an extent. It's not the gore that is what makes it scary, it's the idea, that something like that could very easily happen IRL.

I hate new horror films, they're awful. Classic horror films. <3

Why do half of horror movies start with "The"?

Gone is scary and reallllly suspensful, overall I think its a good movie
I started watching Hostel Part II yesterday, seemed pretty scary
The Hills Have Eyes is definitely scary and good

There's one movie I saw that was fairly creepy.

I can't remember the name though, it had to do something with people being trapped in an elevator and slowly, one by one died till there was one guy. I watched it at a friend's house a long time ago.
Something involving Devil.
