excellently done, the first person control is very engaging. this has huge potential.

however a lot of sound balance needs to be done. you should have amped up the echoes and toned down the door sounds. what program do you use to edit your videos?

I understand the breathing, and some people might think it adds to the realism or something along those lines. But personally I just find the breathing distracting/annoying in those sort of films

Edit- just realized I never said anything positive about the video lol
Other than what I mentioned, it's very well done, good job!

I used windows movie maker :S I didn't know how to turn down the volume of the door sound since it was in blockland and not added in.

And Mysteroo, I understand what you're saying. I will see if I can keep the special effects down to a minimum.

Also Padmedog, for some reason my PMING is disabled. I was planning on making a series or a mini-movie with this, but I have to work out the storyline and stuff first though. Thanks for the offer!

On second thought, if there was no breathing than that would leave the majority of the video silence wouldn't it? Maybe that could just be filled in with footsteps or something

I suggest you get a copy of something like Sony Vegas Pro, adobe premier, or Final Cut Pro, which will allow you to control sound balance as well as execute some basic video effects, like post-production motion blur, camera shaking, or lighting effects.

If you have any experience with photoshop and it's layers you'll understand how Vegas works very quickly. I'd like to help out, but I can't promise anything.

Do you think you could link me up with a copy of the original video, breathing sounds, and echo-roar sound? I could make something pretty quickly that sums up what you can do with Sony Vegas.

I think that after the monster noise happens the light flickers and then in that moment of time there is a monster and then when the light flickers on there is no one there.
