Author Topic: No discription.txt for RTB (Read 946 times)

Hello,
I have used RTB with blockland many times before and it has worked fine.... After recently becoming active in blockland again, i have tried downloading RTB But i have been having issues. I've downloaded RTB into the add ons folder of blockland with no issues, but the problem comes when i start up blockland. Everything starts up fine except for the fact that RTB is not showing up. So i looked at the console and it says no discription.txt for add on System-return to blockland - will not execute. So i looked at the add on file and there is a discription.txt file and everything looks normal. Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how to fix it?

I have reinstalled blockland/RTB many times so that is not a problem

Are you looking in myDcuments/Blockland/add-ons and using the new RTB 4.02

If everything else is fine add an empty description.txt and you're done

There already is a discription.txt in the folder and I think the problem is that blockland is not recognizing it.

The description might have some sort of attribute that breaks it. Perhaps it is encrypted or hidden.

Sorry for bumping again but i just really want rtb to work and i thought v21 would solve my problem but apparently not. Can anyone help with this?

i know, im sorry :/ but this has been a ongoing problem and i thought maybe with more people in the help section someone might know how to help me and i didn't want to have to make a new topic.

I noticed badspot had to fix a "no discription.txt" in the v21 update so it must be something

When was the last time that you used RTB?
I think your use to RTB3 where the logo is shown in the corner of the Blockland window.
The new RTB4 doesn't show the logo anymore. You have to press SHIFT+TAB to open RTB.
