Questioning my behavior as possibly psychotic

So one of my hobbies is learning and examining body language, facial expressions, verbal cues, and voice pitch.  I find the subconscious to be very interesting, and the subconscious manifests itself most strongly in those things mentioned before.

So I'm really bored, and I'm considering writing detailed profiles on some of my friends and family for stuffs and giggles.

Is that crazy?  Less than 5 people I know (including family) know that I have interest and knowledge in the previously mentioned fields, and I feel like if someone found out they might think of me similarly to a serial killer.  The people that I have told are only my closest friends and my sister, and they feel weirdly about it.  Sometimes they think that I'm trying to decode their actions and they get freaked out.

So I'm just looking for opinions here really.

I also observe from afar, I find it interesting to see how people react to different situations and what similarities occur between people.

meh, i've seen some stuff when talking to people that showed that they were desperately trying to hide stuff.

also i can tell when people don't like me, which isn't common (thank god) but still when it happens it usually irritates me.

i'm interested in things like that but I haven't really spent much time studying it. I feel like it would be cool to be able to read people's emotions, though.
