I love it but this won't replace current existing slate maps, will it?

would it be possible to adjust the height of water? It would be useful for island builds where you need water but you want to build the island or whatever without having to go underwater. the transparency of the water would also be very good, because you could go from clear, tropical water to opaque-ish deep sea water.

Unless its just a texture and we can change it server wide like we do now.
Will there be a slider to adjust how shiny bricks get?
That's probably to do with the direct light color

No more slate edits.
All it will be is textures for maps.
I am so glad there will no longer be umpteen slate edits.


I didn't see any options for clouds, and would like to see some.
I like maps that have moving clouds; makes the environment feel more alive.

Have options to enable clouds, and then set the color of 3 different cloud textures at different heights. Cloud 1 is extremely low, useful for creating stormy effects. Cloud 2 is medium height, for normal cloudiness. And Cloud 3 would be pretty high up, for thick overcast skies. When selecting the color for a cloud one can adjust alpha to render the cloud invisible. Or each cloud layer have it's own check box.
