Author Topic: Good indie bands?  (Read 812 times)

No, I don't want to hear about grouplove or F.U.N. I want real indie. Good indie.

Do you mean friend hipster indie, or any independent artists from any genre?

Bright Eyes
The xx
Arctic Monkeys
The Strokes
Cursive
The Wombats
Kings of Convenience

You're welcome. <3

We share similar tastes, I see. I have heard and listened to all but the fifth and the last. I've never been a big fan of bright eyes or Arctic monkeys. Any other suggestions?

Hrm.. Some of Florence and the Machines could be considered as indie I guess. Other than that, Andrew Jackson Jihad's kinda folkish-indie. There's a local indie band that I really dig, called To Humans. They only have 2 songs on Youtube, though they're recording right now, so they'll have other stuff soon. I can't make a serious reply to this thread without the OP answering this question first.
