i think people who smoke should have to buy them with proof of health insurance.

Making smoking illegal is never going to happen, no chance.
For starters millions of smokers are highly addicted and for cigarettes to suddenly go away and have no means to get them is an extremely bad idea, not to mention (I dunno about other countries but in Aus at least) the government has occasional anti smoking ads, to keep up appearance. They don't want you to stop smoking at all, they make billions off of cigarettes alone.

I do smoke but very rarely, generally on special occasions or when I have a big party or something.
Also, another -don't know about other countries- thing, is that I have never, ever met a single person who smokes to "look cool" and I know a forgetton of people that do smoke. Maybe it's some wigger thing over in america that people do this but here at least it goes like this.

I hate smoking all around. A close family member of mine smoked a pack and a half daily and had his lungs checked. It was disgustingly hazy and he was having convulsions and seizures when they tried removing some of the tar. He hacked up so much for the next week, I could have sworn he guzzled a gallon of water a day. Not to mention second hand smoke too.

Smoking plants are stupid too and doesn't make you look any cooler. What's so cool about smoking your brain cells away? Nothing at all if the police catch you nonetheless and you have to live with it on your record.


Long story short, smoking is deadly poisonous, stupid, and can harm others too.

I absolutely despise smoking, I think it should be illegal. You get addicted, and it kills you up to twice as fast. It harms innocents because of secondhand smoke, it's annoying as crap for people walking by because it smells like crap. If you're friends or family with a smoker it's annoying because they have to go outside constantly.

Why the forget should it be banned if it's the person's choice? oh no he had to go outside dangnabit. If people want to hurt themselves but relive themselves of stress let'em do it.

It doesn't help you any, makes you look stupid, smells like stuff.

My parents smoke, and it's terrible. I absolutely hate it, I really can't breathe if it's around, I start coughing or something when I'm around it in high concentration, not to mention mild asthma. In low concentration it almost 'enrages' me, I get restless and have to remove myself if I smell it. (But then again, it is a stimulant)
