Why is there a lack of good DM's as of late?

Not to sound like a DM CoD fanboy or anything but I've been noticing that there has been a shortage of good Deathmatches for me to join. I do tend to enjoy making videos of Blockland showing that it can have extremely fun shooting minigames as I believe that the competitive edge is so often left out of the game.

What I'm trying to say here is that I've been wanting to make another Blockland frag movie/montage for the longest time and as I periodically check Blockland for quick, fast paced DM's that I can hop into and get some nice killfeeds for the vid, I have no success. Most servers are just random RP's and the closest thing to DM's would be Heedicalking's (which is good but not the best for montages/fragmovies since it takes forever to find someone and they are never together for multi-kills) and various other large-sized and slow-paced TDM's which involve an economy system for purchasing weps. These are very fun minigames to join but they just aren't too great for frag movies. It's pretty much the equivalent of making a really nice frag movie for CS:S/CoD and then attempting to make one for ARMA 2. IT JUST DOESN'T WORK lolol

If any of you could host some small-sized, fast paced DM/TDM's for me to record some nice clips, it'd be awesome!

Well it's been around since FPS games have been made but it definitely isn't the "swag" term of the FPS community. Sides, how else could I call a "Frag Movie" a frag movie without saying "Frag"?

I was working on one that was inspired by the look of Pecon's Boss battles in the kitchen, but then after I saw the new thread in Dev I thought there wouldn't be time to finish it.

It was going to be a TDM With High tech lazer like weapons and such, but I could make a DM version.

I know people are going to say I ripped off Pecon's style of buildings, but before that I say his great server inspired me to make something similar.

I barely finished the spawn rooms,I still need to make classes and finish outer structures, the shop can be finished later.

As a smaller age group is filling up the community is comes down to just to stupid Family RPG's that make absolutely not sense. Have you ever thought about hosting one yourself? I'm sure with your popularity it would become a very filled server. I have no idea, Blockland isn't meant to make these videos you speak of, it's meant to build. Why don't you make like a building montage?

I was thinking of hosting a classic styled DM.

Default save, some default weps and some popular ones (shotgun, sniper rifle, etc.)

Maybe some sort of playertype as well I dunno.

I always host DMs like this, but pretty much every add-on is lacking a decent quality level so I only use default...

Now thinking about it there isn't really any C.Q.B servers anymore....

I remember when i first joined BL and there was this just awesome tdm i loved it so much....But it was taken down and never hosted again! D:

So many epic servers have come and gone... If you want to film tomorrow I'll host my Western DM or Nuketown Domination (both w/ T+t).

I used to host a tiny DM map which was given to me by Sharp Shooter, who apparently stole it from Isolation, but he doesn't care about it any more so we can freely use it.
