I always shut my browser down after each page.

I have the bookmarks toolbar if I need to quickly visit a different one.

normally i don't need more than 1.
occasionally it gets up to 10+ but not often.

Just one, maybe two. More than that doesn't get confusing, I just don't need any more than two unless I'm working on something.

5-15 tabs if I'm feeling adventurous.

the most I've ever had open for good reason was ~35

typically 3 to 8
has gone to 51+ but i was ~~opening good research in new tabs~~ playing runescape 50 times simultaneously

Mostly between 1 and 2. One is for the Blockland Forum, and the other is something like YouTube, or Google.
