Author Topic: Just bought a pair of Razer Electras  (Read 871 times)

So, Razer, the magnificent PC gaming hardware company recently released the Electras, and my Sennheiser HD 201's just broke. These are just music headphones but they come with two cables, one has a mic, one doesn't.

Just ordered them from Amazon, they'll be here in roughly a week.

lovey bitches, aren't they

So yeah. /discuss

Next I'm planning on getting the Nostromo gamepad, that thing is loving incredible. A friend of mine has one and I used it for a bit- It's like thinking at the computer instead of using a controller

those look like pretty neat guys

Nice, but I heard that Razer wasn't good with headsets and whatnot from friends. Lettuce hope it isn't that way for you.

The Electras have reeeaallly good reviews, and I've been pretty satisfied with my Sennheisers (which tbh were pretty crappy) so I'm pretty optimistic.

They probably suck ass.

Looks like a nice pair of headphones.

The forget, man? I just said in literally the post above yours that they have really good reviews

Most of Razers products are half stuff and from experience they like to break.

They mostly cater to the leet WoW players.

They probably suck ass.
easiest way to tell: the packaging

To be honest I've owned two razer products and they have both sucked ass. I first bought the razer blackwidow only to have an LED die in a back-lite key. I then had a key actually stop working within the first month. My second experience with razer was buying a razer naga and 3 days later the horizontal axis died, completely stopped working. I've looked up these problems online and I'm definitely not the only one having them. I've returned both products and will not be buying razer again, so congratulations OP, on your overpriced poorly made hardware.

Just like Alienware.

Good for budget headphones. That's industry speak for "mediocre".

which tbh were pretty crappy

What do you expect from $25 headphones?

They sure look nice! But they are probably terrible. The only nice thing is a built in headset, but you can do the same thing with some felt tape and a regular voice mic.

ahaha they don't even do that.

I have AD700's and they have AMAZING soundstage but are slightly lacking in bass. Plus they look neat-o.
