Had an idea to make as many recognizable characters as i could using only an 8x8 grid. Here are the first few that popped into my mind:

Well, it took longer than that... It's about capturing the essence of a character without making full blown pixelations.

it's just a fun thing to do guys, don't bash people for what they are good at and what they think is fun to do.
except this guy isn't good at it at all.
i hate these 8-bit sprites of which you can't even see what they are supposed to be most of the time.
took me 30 seconds to see what those last six were.
