Room remodel need ideas

Soon I will be getting my room remodeled because the last time it was when I was 3 or 4. Its a submarine/boat theme, and its baby blue and looks like a toddler resides in it. So I asked my parents if we could redo and they said "sure, but we are very busy so it will have to wait" they just told me today that it will be very soon  and to start getting ideas. I was thinking of like a loft bed and some new colors. I would like the opinions of you guys, or maybe what your rooms look like.

Well, I can't really help you here, as my walls are beige and my entire area in which I live can be most accurately described as "clusterforget"

However, if I was you, I'd get white or some other light color walls.

Meh, its kinda small. Right now all I have in it is a dresser, a bed, a beam bag, a trunk, some drawers, and a closet, thats it.
