I agree with Pixel and DNA.

You would get tired of the extra physical labor you must put into operating it

It's called being healthy.

Are people going to be replacing their keyboards with this?

Is that even possible?

That'd be so cool to use this with an onscreen keyboard! It'd probably make your arm really sore after a while, though.

The Jargon File dictionary of hacker slang defined "gorilla arm" as the failure to understand the ergonomics of vertically mounted touchscreens for prolonged use. By this proposition the human arm held in an unsupported horizontal position rapidly becomes fatigued and painful, the so-called "gorilla arm".[23] It is often cited as a prima facie example of what not to do in ergonomics. Vertical touchscreens still dominate in applications such as ATMs and data kiosks in which the usage is too brief to be an ergonomic problem.

That would take a lot of getting used to

BADSPOT GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK AND GIVE ME THAT LEAP MOTION
not really, i like blockland :c

I really think that all the people saying that this is a bad idea should actually try it first. like I posted on the previous page, the company offers a full refund within 60 days of shipping. that's plenty of time to try it out.

I mean I completely agree, I'm not saying that I'll absolutely loving love it right out of the box, but I'm going to give it a lot of time before I decide that I don't like it.

hopefully you can integrate it with a mouse and keyboard

like, you shrink the screen with your hands and then go back to using the mouse.

In regards to "gorilla arm", wouldn't supporting your hands on a table work?

That would require you limp-wristing it which would look overly cigarettegy and would probably hurt your wrist.

yeah that's the other thing, it's not like you'd be using this all day long, because yeah that would get pretty damn tiring. it's probably only meant to be used for maybe an hour at a time, if that.
