Author Topic: Have you ever had the habit of associating a personality with an inanimate obj?  (Read 2579 times)

Like, your computer for instance. The way it loads things or the messages it gives you. Do you think some objects in your life have an attitude? (I know they don't. But sometimes I catch myself thinking they do)

I think my printer hates me, and the reason it takes so long to process my request is because I never treated it right. ;-;

I don't think so, but we always refer to an object as "hating us" whenever it's unresponsive.

My phone, Playstation, printer, and magic 8 ball all hate me. On the other hand my laptop loves me.

This keyboards hates him so much haha he can't type on his own I make my own decisions >:)

MY ELECTRIC SHREDDER LOVES ME

I can find out myself by casting a spell, but that often goes wrong. :C

On a side note I think different alcohols have different personalities.

My chair hates me. My computer hates me. My Xbox hates me. My TV loves me, And i love my couch.

I usually give sorta-generic AI in video games personalities (eg the Midnight Club LA's "Franks" hot-dog trucks are conspirators trying to monopolize LA, I sorta become fond of bot teammates in TF2 after several long rounds, etc).

It actually enhances the game for me a bit :P

But yeah other than that no objects are named.
