Author Topic: The Stereotypicals  (Read 1095 times)

The Stereotypicals is a sitcom written in script form by yours truly. There are 4 main characters in the Stereotypicals.
1.) Stereotypical British Gentleman (SBG)
2.) Stereotypical Bad Bagpipes Player From Scotland (SBBPFS)
3.) Stereotypical Drunk American (SDA)
4.) The Pirate (TP)

I make up episodes every few days. The Pirate is the only non stereotypical character, but he matches the personality of a grumpy pirate. SBG is a gentlemanly, weird gentleman dedicated to the patriotism of the UK. SBBPFS is a man from Scotland, who has high hopes of being a professional bagpiper, but he is horrible at playing the instrument. The SDA is a drunk, stereotypical American from Nashville, Tennessee. He is usually considered an annoyance by his peers, but somehow manage to stay friends.

Discuss this odd, sonetimes funny show by me in this thread. I will be posting episodes in this thread too.

No, it's written in text. It's like someone leaked the script of an unreleased show on WikiLeaks.

"Would you like some tea and crumpets, what what?"
"Shneill!"
"Yee-haw let's git sum guns pardnar!'
"Why's the rum gone?"

sounds fine

These stereotypes are stuff, Germans =/= Bagpipes.

why is the bagpipe player german? shouldn't he be scottish?

I don't see a lot of drunk Americans unless this is pre-prohibition times...

Stereotypical American who doesn't know that bagpipes players are usually from Scotland. (SAWDKTBPAUFS)

SBG "I say, let us drink some tea."
SBG #2 "I say, that is a capital idea eh wot."
SBG #3 "Oi, don't forget the crumpets!"
Group laughs in a fancy way.

Because of Pocket Planes, I've been getting my countries and cities mixed up. Thanks!

"Shneill!"

Why would someone from Scotland be telling people to quickly in German?

I orignally had the Scottish Bagpipe Player be from germany, but then you guys made me realize most bagpipe players are from Scotland.

Also, there's no such thing as a stereotypical bad bagpipe player, if you asked me about Scottish stereotypes I'd tell you that they can all play bagpipes perfectly and constantly perform jigs on top of two crossed swords on the ground
