Where is this tower server? Is it in a proper data center or at your "home". Because if it is at home then your upload speed WILL be a letdown. No matter how good the machine is and in fact I have worked with a lot of servers both Windows and Linux so this is hardly something I know nothing about, so don't lie and try make out your this 12 year old with gigabyte speeds from your server to the WAN.

It's not going to have lag, it's not a crap machine.

The dedicated server has 4 GB ram, 3 GHz dual core CPU and 100/90 internet that will run no other servers.

I don't know if I'm going to use it or....

My tower server with 4 GB ram, 3.1 ghz Quad Core and 30/6 internet that will be running more servers.
