OOOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO.
I joined today expecting a fun olympic competition.
First thing I'm greeted with is an ugly build.
Ok, ok, that's nothing much...
and then they reveal that they're no longer using the Recurved bow like THEY STATED IN THE MAIN TOPIC. (Which I had practiced aiming with for almost two hours on singleplayer.) They changed it to the MAGIC BOW, a pink default bow that's default except it is COMPLETELY random, aka a shot at the bullseye is 95% sure to miss without a doubt. So now, they've changed it from a skillful bow that players try to use to a loving luck bow where you have to be wearing lucky socks on St. Patrick's Day with a golden necklace to actually hit the bullseye. So basically, all my work and practice had gone to waste for a last-second switch to a bow that's all luck, no skill. I ask pac about this and he and his admin just freak out. The other players agree that the magic bow is terrible to use and is impossible to control. After this I discovered some serious flaws with his server, such as his admin orb blocking player's views, players being able to leave the minigame and spam rockets, and a bad admin who SEVERAL TIMES made me start over after LEGITIMATELY getting good arrow shots. (I got 5, 5, 7, 5, 7, and some player shoots an arrow in a random direction and he freaks out and is like "START OVER, *playername* INTERUPTED!" Eventually, I am permanantly banned, even though there are more archery stages for me to compete in, PLUS the biking event later on.
tl:dr Bad server, terrible build, last minute bow change throws everyone off, server is very glitchy, I get banned before I can do 80% of the performances I had to do.
