Author Topic: Why do my icons keep doing this?  (Read 1977 times)


The world icons are Steam shortcuts, and the white boxes are .exe files.

So, why do they keep changing to this type of icon? Not all of them do this.

I never understood this either
I'd like to know too.

I've never encountered this problem, even when I used XP

i only have 1 icon that does this. most of my icons just turn into white sheets of paper:

has the file for the icon been moved or anything?

i only move mine into their respective areas of the desktop (i.e rows along the top for games, rows on the left for utilities, etc)

It doesn't work like that, the icon "file" is embedded in the executable.

This happened to google talk and blockland for me.
