Author Topic: I cannot host even when I forward my ports.  (Read 1166 times)

I have no idea why this is and it's bugging me loads because the main reason I used to play blockland was to host :(
I can provide more information... I just don't know what kind of info I have to provide.

Is your firewall blocking it?

Are you using port 28000? (I think that is the one)

No firewall is blocking it, and the port is on 28000. When someone tries to connect I can see it in the console too, but they don't seem to be able to get onto my server. This happens even when I have no add-ons enabled (fresh download)

Is UPnP disabled? I think when you host a port-forwarded server this must be the case.

I've tried with it enabled and disabled. Still nothing. What does it even do anyways? Nobody seems to know.

Ok, my IP address is static, my ports are open according to portchecker (from the portforward website), yet I'm not even showing up on the server list anymore. Can someone please try and explain wtf is happening? :(

turn off software firewall
retry

Universal Plug n' Play. It lets you host servers without port forwarding.

Turned off firewall completely. Nothing still.

Restart Your network and wait an hour. Or maybe It could be some internet spyware stuff

Ok, someone was just able to join there, but none others seem to be able.

turn off antivirus.

probably isn't the case, but worth trying.

^Not This.^
*Get Anti Virus* :3

I have problems with my friends, friends server. It's always saying it's not on the Master Server listing. It must be this, as a few people can join and the rest cannot.
