Author Topic: throwmod- script_blah crashing  (Read 551 times)

I had an older version of the throwmod, which I found was crashing people whenever another player tried to pick them up. I updated to munks version but the same issue happened. I know some people hosted throwmod dm's so it must work for some people, and it worked for me before. Does anybody have a solution or at least an explanation as to why it's broken? D:

Its probably broken like AimBot.

When someone/I pick someone up, My camera goes under the map and crashes.

Nothings different from before the crash and after. I tried when I crash someone, and when I crash. A few other people have this issue too, could v20 have broken it?

Yeah, probably. Anybody have any idea how to fix it? Or is it just unfixable

Sou have a broken version and they have either fixed it or found a better version

There have been several topics about it being broke since V20 was released. Munk has a fixed version but he said he is not going to release it any time soon.

I can imagine a way to fix...

Make a StaticShape on the player holder's getHackPosition.
Make the player's camera on the StaticShape.
Done.

Since I don't know very much about scripting, I'm not quite sure what that means. But if it would fix it, I'd really appreciate help implementing that

scratch out that first part, I figured out what it meant. But I still have no idea how to put that into the mod if it's not already there
