Author Topic: New Gaming Computer  (Read 3903 times)

Yeah to fix small problems, my trackpad had a little rattle so I went along and they tightened it up there and then. Would hate to spend money on something then live with little problems like that.

http://www.pcpartpicker.com is the site I used for building my computer. And I had no previous knowledge of computers. But I needed ended up doing quite a bit of research when I started.

i cant even imagine a single thing that can happen that would make me need to bring my computer anywhere for help.

mac users go on and on about their genius bar, but that only raises another question.
macs are supposed to be easy to use. without issues. yet those mac users are CONSTANTLY visiting the apple store for support lol
i have a mac because my parents won't let me use windows and it almost never messes up
and when it does i just get my dad to fix it because it's usually just something small

Well, I minds well post this in this topic.

Anyone know a GOOD board that will support 2 CPUs? I will be rendering a lot.

what do you plan on doing?

I don't judge computers by spec, I don't play games so why would I? No point trying to change my mind, I can afford to spend the premium on Apple products for their fantastic design, reliability and support, so I do. There's more to computers than just power.

HA. All I got to say.

Oh dear jesus lol.

My brain hurts
To settle all Mac arguments I most certainly will NOT be getting a mac under any circumstances
And Pecon $1700 is abit much D:
Also is liquid cooling reliable? Ive seen lots of videos of it failing and oozing all over the computer parts
and frying the entire thing

The liquid is usually non conductive, there's no reason to get a real watercooling setup though. Get something like a corsair h80 or the antec one. Its a self contained cpu water cooler. Though some air cooling ones are better

wait why is everyone stuffting on lub just because he likes macs? so what if he likes things that look nice? why does this bother everyone?

Because he ignored the 700 dollar price difference and made up bullstuff reasons for it

so instead of just fixing it yourself you took it to the apple store?

apple users have decided from the beginning they dont know computers and never intend to.

but by that logic.
i dont know anything about cars, but that dosnt make me handicapped enough to buy the most expensive one i can find as long as its pretty, without any concern over the "specs"
stuff, i dont have to use the garage at the dealer i got my car from. i can teach myself just enough to do a tuneup, or even take it to the other million cheaper places on earth to fix it. or have a friend do it.

or i could be a lazy dumb forget and throw money at things i choose to be ignorant about.

No bullstuff reasons haha, good support is a fact. The $700 difference doesn't bother me, I have a full time job, I can afford it. Back when I was 12 I couldn't afford Macs either, I used to hate on them too. Unjust bullstuff.

Yeah, why would I void my warranty, risk breaking it when I can just walk 5 mins to the Apple shop and get it fixed no problem?

what the forget
Going by the same logic with cars, most people buy cars with good warranty and then take it back to the garage if there's a problem. The majority of people in the world can't actually fix their own computer problems so the genius bar is fantastic.

Cool, buying an expensive laptop because I think design, support and operating system preference are more important than spec makes me ignorant. Lol.

You have a full time job! That's incredible, you must be like some kind of god or something. But I like how your first argument was that the dell was more expensive then specs don't matter. I think you might just be trying to stir stuff or you're really dumb
