Author Topic: it's sad daywhen a 6 year old monitor lasts longer than a new one....  (Read 979 times)

Seriously. If you think high end electronics manufacturers make stuff that breaks on purpose, you are a handicap.
I am almost positive that stuff like Windows progressively gets slower over time(purposely of course), then becoming so slow despite nothing being on your computer that could hinder its speed.

What would that accomplish?

That's because they only have to compete with Apple inc. which is aiming at a different demographic than Windows. Windows also doesn't get slow on purpose, it's just that no one at windows gives two forgets to make it better because the only well known alternative is to buy a Mac which is vastly more expensive in comparison.

companies dont purposely make stuffty stuff to force you to buy more, as the theory has always been lol

you consumers want to save money more then you want quality. so thats what companies design for. cheaply made things, so they can have a lower competitive price on the shelf.

granted there is a high quality version of everything you can buy, but you choose not to and claim all products are bad.

answer? quit being so cheap

there is a reason i will buy the 200 dollar 22inch monitor instead of the 90 dollar one.

i buy 60 dollar jeans and not the 20 dollar ones.

ok I know now, op is actually lying - nothing breaks

I hate CRTs and their high-pitched flyback transformer noise.
mine doesn't make any high-pitched sounds except after it hasn't been used in a while.
