Author Topic: Should I get this graphics card?  (Read 899 times)

It's an NVidea 560 ti for 150$. I currently have a G-force 9800 gt.

If your rig can handle it and you feel you need to upgrade then yeah, go ahead.
This reply was made without any knowledge of the Geforce cards whatsoever, so if any pros feel like telling me that his card is better than a 560 then don't be a richard about it

Link please, just naming it doesn't give us (me) enough information.  Post your whole rig, too please.

stuff never mind it just went off sale.

From what I can gather, it's a pretty solid card. Definitely a big upgrade from a 9800. You can check out some performance benchmarks here:

Just make sure your power supply has an adequate enough wattage for it. AT least 550W should do it.

i have some 560 limited edition it works pretty well. max temp i've looked at was 59c on my pc but my fans scale. i'm probably going to wait for maxwell before i upgrade again.
