Author Topic: Supported Video Cards  (Read 1565 times)

Out of curiosity, is there a posted list of supported graphic cards?

Thanks,
- Dave

No there is not because badspot doesn't have the $ to buy every single card and test it. I can tell you that These cards work tho : Nvidia MX440, MX4000, and 6150 LE.

I have personally tried it on:

ATI Radeon X300
ATI Radeon X1300 mobile thingy
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
ATI Radeon X800
ATI Radeon X1950XTX
nVidia GeForce 7300LE
Intel i810

The only compatibility issues that I know of are:
1.  If your video card is so old it doesn't support openGL
2.  ATI + Vista + OpenGL = Bugs

Alright, will add, works with nVidia GeForce FX5200 (With Most Updated Drivers), and my nVidia GeForce 6600GT.

I should be alright then. Aside from the fact is I'm looking at it for a possible laptop, and I've read in earlier threads there were/still are issues with laptops. Still big issue, or as long as you have a newer laptop you're pretty good?

I use a laptop and I've never had any issues with Blockland... Sure, there's the annoying lack of a number pad and a "real" mouse, but it runs Blockland just fine.
In terms of video cards that work with BL, well, I run off of some Intel branded crap. (Don't have the money for a "good" graphics card.) But it works just fine, at the very least.

Wouldn't it be easier to post a list of graphics cards that are confirmed to have issues?

I lawl'd, yes it probably would be. But why make it easy?

What about integrated cards?
I'm running a laptop and I get quite a few graphic bugs with blockland once in a while.

ATI RV530 PRO

^I have that one and I run it at full everything.
