I have the same issues as Shygriff and it isn't easy to overcome. Sometimes life hands you cards that lead to that and it is hard to break out of it. You can't just suggest unlikely things that you believe would help when in reality you put no thought into how it works to be like the person you're suggesting them to.

He's saying that shygriff is annoying and a manipulative jackass in the thread, the only points that he's "arguing" is that shygriff is a horrible person. The only bad way to say this is if you either have unintelligible spelling or you don't give your point in the first place (ie giving a link and saying "discuss").

Could be a bit more mature about posting, but I don't think the extent of that is bad at all.
I see nothing manipulative in her behavior. The only thing I see is her having a common issue and talking about it as is necessary to feel understood. Self-depreciation gets on peoples' nerves as well, so it's doubly annoying for many. The topic was honestly asking for help, too. If I had been as heavy a forumer as I am now a few years ago, I would have asked what to do when I was sitting for 3-4 hours once a week being subjected to not-altogether-distant bagpipe music.
