why do people say "the" dictionary
there are a lot of dictionaries
like merriam-webster, oxford, and this handicapped collins one
these words are only being added to the collins dictionary
Collins is a reasonably reliable dictionary, but it's hardly official, like the Oxford English Dictionary is in regards to the English Language.
It's stupid to add YOLO in since it's not even that widely used, nor is it even relatively old.
Most credible dictionaries will look for it to be used in actual published literature, and look for the original usage of it.
They don't just ask "Hey what new words should we add into the dictionary?"
In regards to their facebook comment, I've never heard "tweep" used. Googling it says it's to message someone on twitter. Which I thought was referred to as "to tweet"?
And I've no clue what "Cray" is either.
