Author Topic: RTB investigation...  (Read 716 times)

Hey guys, Dion here. I haven't been on for about 4 days, and when I do, RTB says 'ID 37180 is already logged in!'.
So I say, eh, poppyrooster. I try to reconnect and the problem persists. I eventually go as far as re-downloading and
deleting it's config. To no avail, it doesn't work. Finally, I can get on about an hour later. I'm like 'hooray i r so happee'.

This is where the investigation arises. I get on Blockland only to find one of my pretty good friends, [iPhone 4S] is blocked! I unblock him and quickly ask how he got blocked. The following things are said.

Could someone out of the inner circle have my Blockland Activation Key? Not by me, I and my brother haven't given it out to anyone!
Before you go on a tangent about my brother trolling us, that isn't what happened. I called and he has been out of town for a few days.

Then I think...
JAZZ!!! It must have been him!
But no, were pretty good friends on most levels, although I still don't trust him. No reason he WOULD do it
I think twice...
Furdle.

Furdle could easily get my IP through emails. He gave me CRP recently, I scanned it to no avail, there were no viruses or other strange files...could it be him or JazZ...or someone else!?

Hopefully, together, we will work together to find the culprit.

the real question is...

why would it matter if he had your IP

well someone had shared his key to someone at least once.
and that person still uses it, or has continued to share it further.

It was me. I'm sorry, I won't do it again.

Me and my bro bought this key together. Single household use.

you had no idea if it was your bother or not. that couldnt have happened if you lived together, or shared from a single house.

or do you just call your brothers bedroom from your bedroom to see if hes been home this week lol

>implied IP hack
I mean seriously I think we've been through this score it doesn't matter if someone has your IP, you're giving it out by merely browsing the Internet.
