Aww, good luck peanuts.
I wish I had some good luck peanuts.

I love how all the scientists there are just chilling, enjoying penuts, and playing with smiley balls. :D

lol be 100% honest with yourself and tell me what you think people in the US want to see, a rover landing on mars (which we have done before and has lots hype) or a concert with their favorite musician?

apollo 11 was big obviously, but can't say its my interest so no, i probably wouldn't have watched it. lots of people did obviously, but a robot landing somewhere we've gone before isn't quite as interesting.
I guess why I'm arguing is because you think that nobody want's to see this expansion of human knowledge, that everyone is like you, that people have no interest in education.
It's people like you that made NASA have to say "There may be oil or resources on Mars" just so they would get to start this mission. Education, the only thing worthwhile, isn't enough for you people.

Which guy?

Him

I'm going to be so flustrated if they don't light up cigars like the olden days when this sucker lands.

edit: 12 minutes to cruise stage separation!

22 minutes to entry

TV is ahead of the stream by a bit

I liked the guy who didn't even wait until after his < 5 minute interview to eat his peanuts.

I feel like im really behind

when did i say NOBODY cares about this? im just saying not many people do. your just repeating exactly what im saying, lots of people dont care. im not arguing that im better then you for it, or saying that you are wasting time by doing it, im just stating facts.

if i had the choice to go out with friends, or watch a science lecture for an hour to further my understanding of science, i would choose the first one and im sure lots of other people would too.

Why are you two even arguing? Who cares if youd rather go out with your friends why are you posting about it in here?

I feel like im really behind
Me too. I don't know how long ago any of this has happened, I feel like I live in the wrong place, so far from MCC.

because someone asked why this isnt being streamed on youtube live

yeah forget off guys we're watching SCIENCE and OUTER SPACE

You're right, 23 minutes till touchdown, no more arguments, only science.

Oh god I'm so confused.

What time is it supposed to land? I'm watching the stream but it's just people talking :I
