Author Topic: I got braces  (Read 1132 times)

I got braces. Lucky for me there only on the left side of my upper jaw so they feel like an iron caterpillar hanging from my teeth. So far i feel no pain from them. They are pretty to fun to scratch my tongue against. Anyone else here have braces on/had braces?

Got them off a couple weeks ago, feels good once they're off.

Well, although this topic brings thoughts to mind related to the topic at hand, I'm not at liberty to say. Instead, I will apologize for the Tonka Truck comment yesterday. Didn't think it was so bad as to be banned for it. :panda:

perfect teeth right here

Cigars are bad for your teeth silly nigré.

Pain killers are going to be your best friend, just wait till the dentist has to change a wire or tighten them

Had braces since January. They hurt...

I have to put on rubber bands on these hooks inside my mouth now.
Annoying as forget cause I have to take them off when I brush my teeth/eat.

I was hoping to get braces because the teeth on the right bite the side of my mouth when I chew.

BUT SOMEHOW THAT IS A COSMETIC ISSUE AND THEREFORE THE NHS WON'T PAY FOR THEM.

THAT'S FINE. MY MOUTH WILL KEEP BLEEDING WHILE YOU GIVE KIDS WITH A FEW CROOKED FRONT TEETH BRACES.

My parents would pay for them but we're really short on money.

i didnt have to take mine off while eating, weird

but yeah mine have been off for a while, feels good

I remember that when I had braces, my gums were constantly raw, swollen up, or bleeding. At one point, the wire of the braces slid out to the side and started constantly stabbing me. It was a few days before that was fixed.

I don't need braces because my teeth are purty. :D

i've had them, getting them off soon hopefully.

i was supposed to take mine out when eating but i left them in anyways because it wasn't gonna do any damage

Don't listen to the orthodontist.

Hard stuff didn't hurt anyone, even with braces. I still eat hard candy and gum and what not despite what they say...
