Why does everyone get pissed whenever they see Comic sans?

My school generally uses Comic Cans for everything. It's not the best font to use on a paper that says "Wear Protection during loveual intercourse".

I use Tahoma or Tacoma for my school projects, nice light font for lots of lines of typing. Impact for some of my forum topics...
