oh nevermind, it was released yesterday. I've just realized how inactive I've been this past couple of weeks...
2nd edit: apparently I was also confusing the "8" and the "10" on my computer's clockthing. and I thought it was the 8th right now. oops

I can't start it now though
it just says "blockland.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" whenever I try

It is just frustrating to know that I am missing out on peoples first reactions to this update.  I hope by the time I can run blockland there will still be servers with people messing around with the update.  I do not want to come back to people hosting the everyday servers you always see.

chances are a good amount of them aren't able to play either
in other words, don't worry about that

Oh my god I love this update.
I'm running best and highest on everything on an actually outdated graphics card, almost no lag with a 15k brick build.

There are a few bugs and such, nothing that can't be fixed easily. 

My main dislikes are the new sounds for the main menu, and the layout.  Also the new server start. That's just.  Ew.

New menus look pretty bad, too large of text, all up in your face.

Really digging the additions though.

I think the new start menu is pretty cool, a little confusing but still cool. Also I nearly cried tears of joy when I found out you can now change the server name and number of players WITHOUT RESTARTING THE SERVER. badspot you are amazing. RTB doesn't work on my computer so I always had to restart to change the server name and then everyone on the server didn't come back.
As for shaders, they don't show up for me, and I have the shader quality set to high.

I love the update, I really do, It's just that the shadows should be a bit blurrier. (Just my opinion)
Other than that, and the weird menu, it's awesome.

Wow, that is ugly. It might be your shader settings, I'm not sure, because I don't see that.
