Author Topic: Will Intel graphics card users EVER be able to see the new shadows and shaders?  (Read 6417 times)

Or will I have to live in an ugly flat world with no shadows, forever?

What I'm saying is will he eventually make it compatible with Intel graphics?

Probably not since they are extremely bad.

even if there were shadows i'd say forget 'em and side with the new gamemodes

imo i'm more hyped for gamemodes than shadows

It's funny. I can run a game like Portal 2. with ease, but when it comes to Blockland, it sucks.

some recent computers (like mine) uses two graphics cards, one is intel 64 mb for buisness and battry saving and the other one is nvidia 1gb for gaming... i can't enable shaders... That's a nice bad work we have here...

3fps on minimum shaders ftw

Lol i come to my server, enable shaders (with another computer); look at my 252956 bricks, sit, and take pics and pics and pics... I can only do that, with 1 to 2 fps lol

It depends, if you have a core i7 with the Intel HD 3000 graphics accelerator then MAYBE, maybe on low setting.

you dont understand, my computer got 2 cards, and blockland only detect the first one, intel lol. Maybe if i disable it...

You need to disable integrated graphics in your BIOS settings I think. Otherwise try seeing if theres an option on your dedicated video card driver.

Portal 2 is easy to run. Blockland lags a lot because of its stuffty way of doing things in the background and it has a crappy renderer. V21 will probably fix that.

You shouldn't need to do this.

Intel 3000 HD chipsets won't run shaders period, even if you've got a very expensive computer.

What's the Intel chipset and what dedicated card do you have?

Hopefully we will, but I'm more interested in being able to launch Blockland first...

If it's this bad I don't want shadows <3

apparently nobody has noticed that it's barely been out for a day
